Sophia Johnsen Photography Website!

Sophia Johnsen Photography is very happy and excited to announce that my long overdue website is finally available for viewing!!! It’s been a labor of love for quite some time, but I finally got it just right and can’t wait for everyone to check it out. Be sure to look through all my galleries to view my work in photographing high school seniors, newborns, children, and families. I also have a new blog and plan on updating it often with recent sessions, so keep checking back. My Facebook is updated often as well and I plan on creating a fan page very soon. So, once that’s up, I’d love for everyone to “like” my fan page so that you can stay current on everything happening at Sophia Johnsen Photography.

Here is a view of what my home page looks like. The links are at the bottom left of the screen.

Friend Sophia Johnsen Photography on Facebook

I'm sorry that I've been MIA on my blog posts lately.... I've been working really hard on my 2011 senior orders so that they're all back by everyones graduation parties. But I wanted to post a quick reminder to "friend" me on Facebook to see more of my work. I've had trouble finding time to post on my blog lately, but do make sure to post a lot onto Facebook.
Also, I've been working on my website and am really hoping to have that done before this summer... I'm very excited about it! So I'll keep you posted about that and let you know when you can check it out! :)

2012 Seniors - Be sure to call soon to schedule your senior session this summer! Can't wait to start photographing all of you!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

I was very excited to spend my Halloween with my nieces and nephew for the first time. My kids were so excited to trick-or-treat with their cousins and it turned out to be one of the best Halloweens that I can remember! We all decided to match their costumes with our own little twists and I loved how they all turned out! Here are a few of my favorite pictures from our little Halloween session in my hometown.

Here is the whole gang!

And before I left town for the weekend, I photographed my other nieces and nephew. Their costumes turned out so cute and I'm excited that it was little Brock's first Halloween!

Class of 2011 Logan-Magnolia Panthers

THE BOYS OF FALL
I was recently asked to photograph the 2011 Logan-Magnolia High School football players and had a complete blast doing it. This was very different from what I'm used to photographing for the high school sports teams, so I really enjoyed this special request. Here are the images from our session.

Please contact me for information on ordering these images.
Deadline to order these images is September 30th to have them before the end of the season

Blake

I became so busy last spring that I never had a chance to finish sharing my 2010 seniors with everyone. I've been busy photographing 2011 Seniors and will be starting to share those very soon but wanted to make sure that I posted the rest of last years graduates. I had the best 2010 seniors and enjoyed every one of my session! I enjoy even more how much I still like seeing all my seniors around and being able talk with them. They're all a great group of people!

Blake was one of my last 2010 Seniors of last year and was a graduate from Logan-Magnolia High School. Our session was later in the fall but it was a nice day... a little breezy but it didn't bother us too much. For the corn picture, we had to drive across the open field to get to that location... lucky no crops were still in the field that we drove on, so it made it ok. We had so many great shots... this first one is my favorite!

Thanks so much Blake! I hope you're enjoying college so far!

Keep checking back for 2011 Seniors!
